What does retrograde mean?
A planet is marked retrograde when, seen from Earth, it appears to move backwards through the zodiac for a while. The planet does not really reverse; it is an effect of Earth overtaking it, or it overtaking Earth, in orbit. The Sun and Moon are never retrograde.
